Hi everyone! So as a boudoir portrait photographer I often hear "I could never take naked pictures!" Well let me tell you something....YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE NAKED!! (Or even in underwear for that matter!)
When I first started shooting boudoir portraits I didn't really put much thought into what people were wearing. I think I just figured they would show up in whatever they wanted to be photographed in and it was my job to take the pictures. After years of experience now I have learned so much about guiding woman to feel their most confident and sexy self! With very detailed conversations prior to the day of shooting we really plan out everything together. I know exactly what works best in my studio as far as colors and textures and most importantly I know that you do not have to be naked to feel sexy. (But if you want to then YOU GO GIRL!) But through the planning process we learn that what makes all the difference in the images is NOT the clothes!! I mean avoiding the wrong outfits is key, but in the end what makes the final images 1000% sexy is the confidence that comes through. You could be sporting jeans and a tee shirt, but when a woman FEELS sexy everyone around her knows it and THAT is what we are creating!!
From the amazing professional hair and makeup services to being coached through poses with laughter in a welcoming supportive atmosphere feeling gorgeous and confident in your own skin just exudes out of you! I have been told that during the process it's like another woman takes over your body and it becomes the most empowering experience my clients have ever had!
So being naked, half naked or wearing a snow suit really isn't what its about. It's about being made to FEEL beautiful with who you are at this exact moment in your life! Now that being said I have quite often been told "I took off much more than I planned!" Just a fair warning! Hehehe.....
